This photo is absolutely stunning. I'm glad you've made it black and white because it's made it even more captivating. The look in his eye are kind of like, longing? I don't know, it's just too beautiful for words. (:
Very nice, I loe the black and white, yet, it somehow feels a bit contrived. Like, when you photographed it, you said, GIVE ME PASSION! INTENSE EMOTION! SADNESS!
It's really nice, yet it feels a bit fake. Mose really good emotive portraits have really true, raw emotion. I feel like if this were take under other circumstances, it could easily be DD worthy. Great lighting, good angle and pose, yet it's lacking that crucial element. But you have talent in this. I love it, it just needs that tiniest bit more. (:
I put my macro lens on 0-50 and went out after a Canberra rain which as you know was sunny 20 min later lol. Had a look in our back yard and saw the dandy lion covered with droplets. The rest is what you see. Thanks for looking at my stuff and taking the time to comment
Nice contrast of darks and lights, really accentuate your son's foreground eye. I like the composition here, you have the viewer noticing first his eye then the other; next his arm, leads back up to the eye; next the shoulder in shade, leads viewers to his hair, which frames his face and falls back all around to focus back on his eyes.
